Roland Marconi has been producing, directing, shooting and editing videos for the past 20 years, presently for CBS Interactive, creating daily video and audio content for CBS MoneyWatch.com, (Winner of 2010 EPpy Award for ‘Best use of video, less than 1 million monthly visitors’), BNET, Smart Planet, CBS Radio and CBS affiliate broadcast stations He has also helped to create a major body of work for Gary Null Productions. As director and editor of 20 public health and investigative reporting video documentaries as well as infomercial/product promos he has helped to win numerous national and regional video awards with additional credits including: cinematographer, music composer, sound/music editor, scriptwriter, researcher; supervisor of editing staff and camera crews, director of multi-camera studio shoots and lighting director. He is also a freelance producer, editor, camera person, music composer, video artist and consultant for such diverse media entities such as Global Vision Group, INN World Report, David Kramer Productions, World Peace Productions, New Jersey Dance Theatre Ensemble, We Are the World, NY Society for Ethical Culture and St. Vincent’s Hospital producing documentary, corporate, promotional, music videos and performing arts videos.

Programs Roland has directed and edited as PBS Specials: “Age is Only a Number”, “De-stress Now”, “It’s Not Your Fault You’re Fat” All three Gary Null produced programs raised record amounts during nationwide PBS fundraising pledge drives in major markets.

As a guitarist, songwriter and music producer, Roland has been an integral part of several original music projects such as “The Rexalls”, “The Ions”, “Satyricon”, “Roots of Reality”, “Cultural Elite” and “Intimate Strangers”, in which he performed and recorded using video, audio samples and a mixture of acoustic, electric and electronic instrumentation. The recent release of the compilation CD, "A Chance For Peace" was produced by Media Dream Productions to benefit "Educators for Social Responsibility" (ESR Metro).

He has composed and produced theme music for the Carl Zeiss Inc. promotional video “The 150 Year Tradition” and the nationally syndicated “The Gary Null Show” weekly radio program as well as scoring the soundtrack music for the award winning video documentaries “AIDS - The Untold Story”, “Gulf War Syndrome: A Deadly Legacy”, “Deconstructing the Myth of AIDS” and "The Amazon Rainforest"

As Music Composer, Sound Designer and Video Artist for the Turano Dance Company, Roland has participated in the critically acclaimed productions of “Captured”, “In-Active Sleep”, “Carmen”, “Carmen in the Underworld” and “Xpulsion”.
